Jenn Johnson was voted the Hoofer of the Month for the month of March for all the work that she has put into helping the sailing club put together it's new manuals. Congratulations Jenn!
At this time she has helped us put together the following manuals:
A new weather manual: Learn about how meteorological changes in the atmosphere affect our wind conditions as well as how the landscape surrounding the lake affects the air patterns moving across it.
A new scow manual: This guide will help introduce you to everything you need to know about how to control all the scows in our fleet.
We encourage everyone to check out these beautiful new manuals as well as the others in our library as Jenn continues to work with our fleet captains and active fleet members to update our other manuals. If you see Jenn around make sure to thank her for all her hard work!
This coming weekend is Pier In, the time when our shop staff leads the effort to get all our docks into the water. It's a lot of work that we need to get done before we can go sailing, and we need your help! Pier In is a fun way to meet fellow members and enjoy the beautiful spring weather, all while learning about how our piers get built every year. Also, remember that you can get your work hours deposit back by volunteering at these work parties. Here are the links to sign up to help, you don't need to be there for any specific times, just sign up and stop by whenever it works for you!
